Gold Rush: German Jeweler Unveils 22-Carat Gilded Porsche
PFORZHEIM, Germany — Visualis, a German jeweler, has created quite a spectacle: a one-off Porsche Boxster gilded in 22-carat beaten gold.
The company says the original will be followed by a limited edition of nine cars for customers.
Commissioned from a local artist and goldsmith, the Boxster even has gilded door knobs and steering wheel, for that special Midas-wannabe.
Visualis says customers can pick their favorite Porsche to gild and also select aftermarket accessories to have gilded and installed. The company says the Porsche warranty remains intact unless the customer wishes to have something gilded under the hood.

Thanks. so they are trying to negate the depreciating nature of it by putting on something that apreciates. 
People just got so much mone to burn. I wish I was one of them.
