The making of the commercial is more interesting than the commercial itself.

The post-processing effects on the film are pretty interesting ... It looks almost entirely computer generated.

I've got little doubt these will sell well...I don't think that was ever a question. Too many housewives and poseurs out there who wouldn't be caught dead driving a real Porsche for it not to.

Because rich people don't necessarily equate to having good taste...?

I don't think it's worth the money, but i'm sure like the Cayenne (do we REALLY need a Porsche SUV??), it will sell.

I would agree, however it is a Porsche. Maseratti still has a lingering memory of crappy QC, and they are still trying to overcome that.

I think it will lose value, but in 4 years, I say it drops 50%. So it's a 4 door expensive 911. And still $80K in 2013.

saw one today! parked between a GT2 and Continental GT. the GT2 was white with a roof rack...lets say that about 1/10 of my attention was on the panamera...my IS250 looked less than stellar in comparison...and this brings me to a rant - i cant stand ppl in 100k+ cars that park in regular spots.

Would you rather they park in a handicap space?

Front looks cool, but the back is :thumbsdow. Maybe purchasing one off a lease in a few years would be better. $156K?!?!

no, i mean parking in any old spot without second thought. Would you park a 100k car next to a minivan??

Hell, I never park my Suabru in a regular spot. Always an end spot, and I put one side on the edge/line so anyone who parks near me is far enough away.

In a $155K plus car, I'd take a cab because I could afford it
