By the time you've pulled out of the Chevy parking lot, you've already experienced more fun with the Z06 than you will throughout your ownership with a TL.

Very simple mods to this car will kill a z06 ,STOCK TURBO!!!!!!. An d as for the fq 400, it is a big turbo, not the biggest since a gt35r on the evo's would put the car in the 600 to 700 hp range.

$350 on headers
$350 on true duals
$300 on a cam (T-Rex for you gm guys)
$200 On springs
$100 on pushods
$250 on tune
$200 on install parts
For about $1800 i made 411 rwhp without even doing heads. With heads i could have hit close to 500 at the wheels with that cam. And this was on an LS1. Ive changed setups a couple of times since, but that was the most inexpensive setup i had.

All motor, they are pulling around 700rwhp. Not saying the evo doesnt havr potential, but dont say that the vette doesnt have it either.

And for all who don't believe call billet design's and tell then you have an evo and what would it take to get your evo to 1000whp. Name is marco, real cool guy. Fab's alot of stuff for porshe and any other car out there. http://www.billetdesign.com/home.php

Now those two cars are far from stock and the motor was opened, butit was done. The one drawback is that you can not drive a car like that on the street everyday (not comfortable) but that is what you pay for horsepower and that goes for any car you push. Anyone who does not believe an evo can push 1000 whp just google ams evo or just look on google. They tunealot of evo's. Also look up billet design in pompano beach fl. That shop is where they have an evo pushing 1000 whp also. but hp like that cost money.

You're beating a dead horse. I don't think this guy understands that there are cars out there that are faster than an Evolution.

The thing i like about all motor GM V8's is that you can force induction them with a twin turbo setup to 700 plus horses and daily drive em, or you can heads, cam, stroker and be around a similar number andstill be daily drivable. Whereas the evo wont be good for a daily driver. Bottom line is that either motor can make lots of power for little money when compared to other cars.

Stop arrguing about which has more potential or this and that, they are two totally different cars mainly used for two different things, in two different price ranges.
