Sick looking car.... except for the stacked tailpipes.
And no manual? Takes some of the fun out of driving a (sports) car.

Is it just me or does the center console around the navigation look like our TL?
I don't care for the exhuast either. I wouldn't want white seats.
I have no problem with the car having just a automatic trans. Sometimes it is nice to just sit back and drive rather than having to row the boat.

Geez, is it really going to be that low from the factory?
Those wheels are just BEGGING to be curb rashed.
I personally like the exhaust. Must be the hot-rodder genes.
All together now: "ENGINE COVERS SUCK!"
Looks pretty good to me.

I would MUCH rather see the nooks and crannies(sp?) of the engine than have an ugly piece of plastic on top...not to mention it discourages the owner tinkering (perhaps thats the point).
Exhaust is tolerable for me but for the money I was expecting a little more out of the interior.
Anyone know the curb weight on this hog?

that car is hawt.
yes the engine cover is probably the ugliest part of the car, but I bet it pops right off.

yea, you obviously don't drive a manual

Hey-- Lexus borrowed the Navi console set-up from the 3G TL!
The 0-60 estimate of "under 4.9" is interesting- the regular IS350 is already there. I hope the weight is under 3800 lbs.
Eagerly awaiting IS-F full test numbers & eval from C&D, Autoweek and/or R&T...

I love the exhaust personally. This car is gorgeous- cant wait til some road tests come out to see how the she stacks up. Even though the tranny is not a manual it is an aboslutely wonderful tranny- I drove the LS460 (same tranny) and it was just always in the right gear.. almost telepathic.
I'l take mine in that blue please

I'm sure the IS-F will be a great car. But it looks too riced out for my tastes.

As an owner of two ISs, I can tell you that the paddle shifters suck - they take forever to shift...even slower than shifting with the gear shifter in the manumatics. They may have tweaked them for the ISF, but I never use them at all. The case is the same for both the 250 & 350.
There's a guy on Club Lexus making his own IS-F out of his 350 using all JDM parts. It'll undoubtedly cost more in the end than the ISF would cost, but it's a pretty neat project. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/show...uilding+my+own There's a whole sub-forum for the ISF if you want to read more about them.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of the car - it's a great performer, but IMO, if you're going to mix lots of luxury with ridiculous performance, don't just add another level onto an already existing model.
