BUT Only if it's a 17 y/o acura with extremely low mileage

JB, you gotta admit, these types of cars don't come up forsale that often (regardless off the make/model)...

Rich, what's Kbb value on it... I'm too lazy to look it up...

Maybe F900 will post the black book value if we ask nicely

EDIT: Cars like this don't come up that often... Some price guides only list poor, good, and excellent condition values. This car would be in a class called "Beyond Excellent", so the values in the guides won't apply.

We had another low mileage example posted here awhile ago (a 94)...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Regis Philban own an old Acura Legend?? I'm not saying this is his but are these cars really THAT nice if multi millionaires are buying them and keeping them for almost 2 decades?? Wow, thats quite a testament to the Legend.

So wait, you're saying that the discussion in this topic and the reason it's occuring has nothing to do with the fact that RonA cleans up comments in For Sale threads in the Black Market, thus, does not allow conversations like this to occur in said threads? Cause if that's what you're saying, then I'm sorry, I asssumed incorrectly.... however, to me it sounds like you're saying the exact opposite which is where my asssumption is derived from. The bottom line is this: If regular discussions and comments were allowed in the Black Market, this topic would not exist in Car Talk.

Whatever, it's not a big deal. If anything this topic hurt the buyer b/c everyone is replying that the car is overpriced, the CarFax report, while probably a typo, has raised some eyebrows, and so on. Comments that would not slide in the Black Market.... so it would have probably been better off if it stayed in the BM only as far as the seller was concerned.

KBB is a joke when it comes to rare cases like this...

Hell...my 1992 Celica Alltrac was worth $3,000 according to KBB

I sold it for double that.

That is one clean car...

i didn't post the pics to help sell the car.......just to show how sweet it is and how rare to find a car that old that still smells like the factory......paint on that car is nicer then the new ones on the showroom floor. i also didn't expect to really sell it here because most people...not all... but most people on here are just negative. i figured i would start with the acura buffs then go ebay. and kbb is always way off with almost everything imho
