Picsof my new ride . . .

So, lets play guess the car. This one should be easy. First clue, it is designed by:

and the rear end looks kind like this:

Can you guess??

Well, it is actually just a cool guy that showed up at the restaurant I had lunch at saturday. This is my new ride:

2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, 50th anniversary edition.

And one pic of the Ferrari and my car:

I was considering getting a C6 for some time, right up until the moment I bought my Z. I like the features of the new vette (keyless ignition, nav, projector's, etc), but I just don't like the styling as much as I like C5. But, that is just me, maybe you will like it enough to justify spedning an extra 10-20 g's on a C6.

For a second I wanted to kill you

You made the right choice with the Z06. Those things are sweet. Good luck with it.

Maybe I missed it, but what happened to the Viper?

I sold it when I sold the business. Was losing money like water through a strainer.

Nope, this is my personal car. After driving the Viper, the TL just wasn't cuttin it. Now, with the Z06, I get the power of the Viper, and *some* of the refinement of the TL (notice I use the term refinement litely)

Oh, and by the way, gdubb, we are having a meet in H-town, u should come on out!!

Well, it is a 2003 Anniversary edition. It had 9055 miles on it when I bought it (it has almost 9400 now!). They were asking 38.9K for it and I paid 37K. Plus, I got them to give me what I owed on the TL. So, I know that I paid a little too much for it, but it was just too b-e-a-utifull of a car to pass up.

Nice ride, have fun keeping it clean. My family has Vettes in the family since '81. I have the dark blue 50th Anniversary Convertible now to play around in. Have fun with it!
