That is a gorgeous E55 you've got going on there. I'm looking into getting a used E63 or an M5 sometimes soon when the 335i goes for sale later this year...As much as I love the M5, the interior of the benz is still better in design.

Thanks for the continued compliments everyone! I got the new CSL trunklid and the carbon fiber front lip installed Sunday and let me say....it's unreal. I will post pics of that in the morning.

And you are correct, as much as I love BMW, I do not particularly care for the styling of the new 5 series. The E class is so much more sleek and sophisticated looking inside and out. It seems like Chris Bangle tried too hard with this current generation. The E39 5 series was classic BMW and gorgeous.

I drove an E63 since I bought my car in early 06 as the last production E55's. I like the slightly refreshed styling of the E63 however, I don't like the powerplant as much. The monstrous 516 lb/ft of torque is unreal. The new one, has about 35 hp on me, but I have about 40 lb/ft of torque more than the 6.2 L V8. Torque is harder to gain than HP.

I am tempted to start modding the E55, however, I am gonna wait till the M3 is finished.

lol. thanks I am a little scared about the depressing weather truth-be-told. I've heard horror stories about how depressing and rainy it is most of the time...but those five minutes that its sunny is worth it. I got to go to Leavenworth during christmas week and damn, was that something to see...It was snowing a LOT during the trip up and when I got there , it had snowed about 8 or so inches.

For those of you who don't have any clue, Leavenworth is this small village in the mountains about 30 miles Northeast of Seattle---its about 1300 feet above sea level. Its a complete 100% German town...all the buildings are in the German motif all the food is german (gross!)..it's super cool. They were caroling in the streets, kids were sledding in the park around a gazebo...it was completely the postcard spot.

At any rate, Seattle's (and Washington's itself) beauty almost makes the crappy weather seem worth it.

I will def keep an eye out for the CTS. I don't know a soul up there other than my girlfriend. Also, if you see my M3 (being as distinct as it is), pull me over!

Within the next month or so:

1. Install my JRZ Coilovers and have the car corner balanced.
2. Alcon front and rear BBK...14.4" in front with 6 piston calipers and 2 piece rotors..the rears are 13.5" with 4 piston calipers
3. Full Supersprint Race exhaust from headers back, cats deleted.
4. Here is where i'm torn.

A friend of mine wants me to purchase his Active Autowerke Stage 2 supercharger system. He will give me a smoking good price on it. However, i'm thinking about buying his kit, reselling it for a profit (retail is about 11 grand) and going with the Horsepower Freaks 750 turbo kit. over 500 whp on pump gas, 600+ on pump +meth injection , and 750 on race gas. However, there is a significant price difference. The Active kits are super high quality and badass, but the HPF kit makes it a true Supra/Porsche killer. Plus HPF is only about 150 miles. The AA Supercharger puts me at about 475 wheel hp.

Finally, the interior will get some love. I have already purchased an Alpine IVA-W205 dual din DVD with the nav setup which is going in with a mild stereo. The current color is gray, however, im trying to hunt down the super badass Cinammon on black color interior out of a wrecked. I think it will look hot with my blue. The stock titanium interior trim is going to be replaced with titanium color carbon fiber pieces.

I might POSSIBLY to one of those vented Vorsteiner GTR carbon fiber hoods, but I like how subtle and aggressive my car looks now. I think with the big brakes, the front mount intercooler and such, it will look perfect and tasteful.

He is dreaming about trading in the CL-S for a new TL-S a little bit. I think he should keep the CL since it's so friggin rare.

No, it was a 5AT. At the time when I bought it, I was looking for a fun daily driver that was FWD. I had a 98 NSX-T, and a 97 Supra Turbo 6 spd, and the BMW 330Ci. All of those were atrocious in the Nebraska winters.

Here are some pics I took with the lip and the new trunklid installed and of my S14. Sorry, the cars are dirty, but I don't care to wash them because they are picking them up tomorrow to ship to Seattle.

These are the wheels i'm shipping the 240 with. I have a set of Volk TE-37 time attacks for it but I don't want them getting destroyed in shipping. They are shipping the BMW in an enclosed trailer, but the 240 will be open. So ignore the 5Zigens.

Not to get off topic but I truly don't know what is special about the 240. Is it RWD or something or is it the engine?

Yes, RWD, 50/50 weight distribution, SR20 (in the JDM cars and also in the swapped cars) is a very very reliable turbocharged motor capable of about 400 whp with a few bolt ons and a minor turbo upgrade. Excellent, tossable chassis, and a wonderful handling car. And it loves to slide

We just got cheated with the KA24 powerplants in the USA from the damn Nissan Pickups.

Of course, that black car is getting an RB26DETT from an R34 Skyline GTR.

lol...yea it is. It's ALMOST a 2JZ. ALMOST.

I've had all of the Skyline lineup in my 240's. A couple of RB20's, one RB25, and now the RB26. With this current S14 I decided to go all out. I've blown up an RB20 and the RB25 and it got old rebuilding them.

Besides, my S14 is pretty mean looking (esp with the Volk wheels) and it would be kinda disappointing seeing just another SR20 under the hood. SR20/RB20's are dime-a-dozen now.

I am moving to Renton initially until my townhouse is finished in Issaquah. I loved it in Issaquah...water on one side with mountains on other.

My 240s are going to get there later than the E55 and the M3. Both of them are being sent to Omaha NE to my old shop so that my buddy can do the RB26 swap and also dial in the suspension and tune the S13. They will be there around late February or early March..just in time for the end of winter.

However, when they get there you are welcome to check them out. We can go find a place to go drifting

Not in Seattle, but I have in Atlanta quite a bit. I'm not great at it yet but it's a lot of fun.

Nasty ass traffic? Please..this traffic around Seattle is NOTHING compared to the parking lots that the interstates around Atlanta become at 5 PM. Over 5 million people just HAVE to go home at the same time.

Is that pre or post RB26?

Really, the 26 is a good motor. A friend of mine just got rid of his and he is building a Soarer (SC300 for those that don't know).

It's a 1JZ block with 2JZ heads.... He thinks it will be about 700 RHP.... I'll start another thread for that one.

Yeah, you'll blow most of us away, as the S14 does not weigh much, and 400 HP is plenty.

Post RB26...KA-T was quick, but you guys with the S/C CL's would be an excellent match and would probably beat me in a straight line (except on launch).

My goal with the RB26 is 1000 whp Stay tuned!

I love the 2J motor, I thought about a 2J swap in the S14, but wanted to keep it nissan
