Well last AutoX event we had the EVO MR show up.
Today......2005 Mustang GT!
This car is soooooo sexy. Interior is ok. Guy said it wasn't the final gauge cluster for production. Seats are fairly comfy, maybe too cushy. well laid out. Interior quality is SPADES above the old stang, but there are still some cheap feelings items (glove box feels like its made of paper.)
Car has the same V8, now puching 300hp. nice throaty sound. Car said the car is very nice, he hard time breaking the rear end free, which sucked for autoX. Car did ok time wise, nothing commendable. Guy said he'd buy a WRX before the stang for something like autoX (of course) but the stang is a great car for highway and daily driving.
Nikcy Pass, I hope you don't regret getting the Cobra, cause this car would actually make me consider driving a ford hotness!!!
now for the pics:

sweet, i've seen 3 on the road, 2 in camo and one not. The one that wasn't looked great but the wheels don't fit the car, they don't stick out enough and are way to small

awesome pics... Looks great in person. I've seen it at the car show and it looks outstanding in real life. Ford definitely has a hit on their hands with this one

Yeah i agree with the wheels. but easy fix as said.
the front wheels in that pic look bigger because of the light and shadows.

I like the new mustang, but I think the dealers will be charging a premium (like all newly restyled models), so the best bet might be to wait a couple of years till the hoopla dies down and get one at 2/3 - 1/2 or the original msrp.
I can see myself in one of those, and when the dealer around the corner from me has 'em I'll probably go down and have 'em "work the numbers" for kicks and giggles...

Maybe it's the lines of the car. It looks too damn boxy. It's trying to be the early Mustang with a modern twist. I dunno. Not my cup of Joe.

They will make too many V-6s!
As for my purchase....I'm happy with it. I found out my car is 1 of 130 white/tan 03 Cobras. There is 1 rarer color combo...white with black top....with black interior. My car will hold its value nicely....
I'll wait and see what the 07 Cobra looks like. I hear it will be a either a Modular 5.0 liter (COOL!).....or a 5.4 liter supercharged powerplant.....making 495hp!!!!!. I wouldn't ditch my car for a 300hp completely re-designed car. 1st year bugs!

TQ > MPG
I didnt like the 05 at first either, but in person it has much more aggressive stance than the current gen, and the interior is a billion times nicer.
I may consider one about 2 years after they are released, depending on how the car performs.
