Pics of Dual GReddy Evo Exhaust on my 2003 CL-S (56K beware)

Hey everyone. I finally got my Dual GReddy Evo exhaust on my car. It sounds great, not too loud. A little louder than Comptech, IMO. Let me know what ya think.

PS: Please don't tell me to lower my car. I am waiting for the Eibach kit to be released for the 2003 model.

2003,

Nice exhaust, does the accel actually feel smoother?

Also, are you going to the west coast meet this weekend?

Paid $780 shipped. Feels like 10+ extra horsepower from adding the exhaust, I know it is probably not, but it feels like it. I also think it is smoother.

I have to work this weekend, so I am not able to go to the meet.

I have not heard HKS, so I can't compare.

This is the Acura CL version, not the AV6 version.

Geees

Those cans are huge... Hope no one decides to stand on them... I knew a guy who had a 2000 Firebird with 3 inch straight pipes who decided to extend them out a little farther than normal and some dick, stood on them while he was not around.. needless to say he was dragging his pipes all the way home....LOL.... The ride was loud too..... Looks nice, really fills up the space, no problems with melting or discoloring your bumper?

They were just put on yesterday, so no problems of discoloration or melting.

They are a little louder than the Comptech Exhaust.

Do they hang low to the ground and can you see the muffler, please look in the pics that I posted first.

Eibach already has springs for your car....the springs are the same for the 2001 thru 2003. I have the pro-kit on my 2003.

But they have not been tested by eibach on a 2003, so Eibach does not yet warranty them on a 2003, so in turn my local shop will not warranty them on my car, I am waiting a couple more weeks until they are warranted.

HI, i just got Eibach springs on mine. The kit I received is for an '01 Cl type-s and up. There's not a different kind for the '03. It's actually the same. I'll have to get a pic up to show you mine. It was a 1.4/1.0 drop. I just have the stock wheels though.

I've have heard both the Dragger's and the Evos, IMO, the Evo's sound meaner. When stabbing the throttle with the HKS, the tone is much deeper in the lower RPMs and then the tone tails off. The Evo's is much more consistent throughout the RPM range. Th Evo's tips do stick out a little further than the HKS. I prefer to have the tips tucked back flush to the bumper edge.

thanks thats jus what i needed to hear. now i just need money so i can buy the evos. i hate how the dragers have no sound at higher rpms. i want a consistent sound and the evos sound just like what i want. although i dont like the sticking out of it either but i guess i'll have to live with it if i do get it. i got a tough decision to make now go lower or get louder.

Looks: Comptech Tips are basically the same size as STOCK which i call them PUSSY PIPEs..and Greddy evo is about 1.5 inch bigger than stock.. which is PERFECT for CLSs' big ass. WHat s the point for u to get an exhausts that s the same size as stock.and it s not much louder than stock?. DOnt tell me for the HP plz.....

Sound: Greddy evo has louder and deeper sound than Comptech.. but not VERy loud...it s loud enough for u hear inside the car and NOT loud enough to receive a ticket...

Price: i can get Greddy Evo Dual catback for AV6 FOR LESS THAN 700.... and how much is comptech? 1G? correct me if im wrong....
