PICS! Chrome/Silver car!
This car is crazy!!! Thought I would share these pics. Got them from my boy who is serving in the military overseas. Royalty and Oil Wealth...geez, these cats got stupid money. This is one tight Audi A8/S8 no doubt.

There is a hooked up M3 with that paint on it in the USA, its really serious- though some feel it is over done. Jaguar also had a line up of cars for show only that were painted(or polished) like that to show off there new aluminum body panels. I saw that picture originally about 4 years ago, its been around for a while.

sick skyline. ive seen this being done to cars fora while now. ther's actually a website where you can buy that chrome paint and get it professionally painted anywhere. the paint is pretty pricey, but not that much more than factory car paints. its gonna be a bitch to color the whole car and keep it shining all the time. think of all the fingerprints and smudges allover.

It is way more than a factory paint. A paint job like that, paint included is roughly 25k since its a complicated multi-layer process. Not to mention that is completely illegal in the united states.
Its solely for show purposes. The Audis and Jags were actually polished aluminum when they went to aluminum body panels. The Benzes, the M3, the Skyline are all that special paint though.

Its fine for a show car, but my black car pisses me off enough as far as keeping it clean/scatch free. Can imagine this thing would look like the bottom of a stainless steel sink after a years use in no time, swirl scatches everywhere that would pretty much be impossible to hide...
