Philips Ultinon D2S question

I just bought the Philips Ultinon from Akinaboy on Ebay. I think its authentic......

Well the thing is, at 6000k, it doesn't look as blue as I want it to be. More like pure white. Is that the color it's suppose to output? There's like, no hint of blue at all (at close range). Is there a burn in period for these bulbs (85122WX)?

^^ They'll go bluer once they color shift i.e. after you put around 100 hours of use on them.

Ok I didn't know if these were the color shifting bulbs or not because the 85122+ doesn't color shift.

But 100 hours is a long time.....

I thought the Ultinon's have a purplish hue. If you go back far enough you can see the purple hue. I have bought the same set from Akinaboy and I can tell that it throws a purplish light from the outlines

Yea it does have a purple outline. I think you just need to stand far, or be far, to see the blue color. But up close it looks pure white any way you look at it.
