Painted Interior?
Painted Interior?
Anyone ever paint their interior of thier Acura? I am talking about the grayish colored part that makes of the dash, shifter area, and cup holder. I was thinking of painting it black but wasn't sure how it would come out.
Krylon makes paint that bonds to plastic with little or no prepping... Keep in mind that it still won't be immune to scratches... You'd have to put a ton of clear coating on to prevent scratching and chipping. If you do it right and take your time, it can come out great. good luck!

I was going to get it done by a pro and put plently of clear coat on it I just wasn't sure how it would look? I have never seen it done and don't feel like ruining $200 worth of interior molding
the only way i would let a pro do it was if i was getting the car painted at the same time, then he could prep and paint the parts all at once...automotive paint and the painter's labor add up real quickly.
