Dude....nice exhaust!!! I want one for my S4.

Let me know what you think about the GoPoint. I recently picked up a used PLX Kiwi, and I downloaded the app called Rev. I've only used it once in the S4, but been playing around with it in the 335i. The thing I like (when using in the 335i) is that I now can see the coolant temp and boost.

Oh...and the Recaro, of course it's nice!!!

Thanks dude. I'm really excited. Between this and my other mod coming today I should get a nice little bump in power.

Nothing like that extra few HP to get from your house to the LEGO shop faster.

So with the arrival of another part today, I can get my car up to stage 2 with the addition of an APR HPFP. The Stasis exhaust and the APR HPFP are gonna work great together. Can't wait to get them installed!

I think my next major upgrade after this is going to be swapping out the Dual SMIC setup for a AWE FMIC. Need to start saving up for their xmas sale offerings.

Totally agree, I love the RECARO child seat!!! Now I'm going to have to start shoping for one. My boy has the need for speed in the back of the Mahzduh.

Oh and of course the go fast parts are awesome too, lol. Post up some vids of the exhaust once you get it on. Should sound great!

Glad you guys like the seat so much.

I bought the seat from Amazon for a discounted price. I don't know why the price is discounted so much. Previously these seats were around $280. They come in different colors as well.

Not a bad price at all. We bought ours at a slightly lower price last year.

I'm sticking with the stock cat for the time being. I know the 034 HFC will be a huge boost in power when combined with my HPFP and exhaust, but I haven't decided if I want to go that far yet. Since my car is also the family hauler, I don't know how comfortable I feel with a less restrictive cat, especially because of the higher amount of fumes it puts out compared to stock.

I have not, but have heard of them. Other than price, I have yet to hear anyone complain about the quality of the AWE kit, which is primarily why I want to go with it. And their performance is great.

Yea, haven't put much into it, but recently came across great sales on the okado coils, exhaust and fuel pump.

I probably saved around $250-$300 because I waited and got in on these sales. And I have no plans on selling this car. I do want to keep it for as long as I can.

Get the aftermarket cat; I hear auto exhaust fumes are good for childhood brain development.

Are you running a HPFP? I was hesitant to pull the trigger on that upgrade, but at the price I got it at, I knew I would regret it later if I didn't buy it. I know a lot of people have knocked the APR pump because of the price, but it's a solid product and at the price I got it, it was a no brainer.

In case you missed the thread:

But you can't go wrong with the AWE at all. It also fits nicely behind the crash bar so you don't have to worry about hacking it up.

No HPFP for me. I'm only stage one (91, 93, 100 files), but I've always kept it on 91. I don't plan on going stage 2 for now, but I almost pulled the trigger on the pump as well a while back.

Don't you need the FMIC to be stage 2?

Just got back home from having my Stasis Exhaust installed and it sounds great! So far, no drone whatsoever on the inside and from all the reviews I don't expect any either. The sound from the interior is deep and low, but not over powering at all. At idle it sounds great too. Throttle response at highway speeds in 4th, 5th and 6th gears is improved. I noticed a bit less turbo lag and the acceleration is even smoother now than it was when I added the Okada coilpacks. If throttle response is this good now, I can't wait to feel what it's like when I get my APR HPFP installed in the next few months.

Pics and Video to come.

This is another reason why I want to go with AWE. I don't wnat to have to modify the crash bar at all. This car is the family hauler so I don't want to make any sacrifices to the safety components.

I've got nearly same, save the 100 for the valet. I'm gonna swap the valet tune for the 100 tune when I get my car reflashed for the HPFP.

Those stage numbers aren't well defined, so I was just going by what I've read and seen others label stage 2, stage 2+ as. Some say you need FMIC, some don't. So I went with the majority. Either way, my next major upgrade will be the FMIC, hopefully at the end of the year. And if I can afford it, since the bumper will be off, I may also go for the RS4 grille, but only if I can retrofit the bottom fog grilles to match.

Got my car serviced today along with a detail ... and ... finally got the RS4 RSB installed along with my APR HPFP.

Now I need to get my ecu reflashed again to make use of the HPFP. Hopefully will be able to do that next weekend, too busy this weekend.

I still need to make a video of how my exhaust sounds for you guys.

So of course I come across this bullsh** intersection that I have to drive through to get to work this morning after getting the car detailed yesterday. Normally I don't drive it after a detail because I know my luck with that sorta thing, but I'm having a mini photoshoot this evening with a friend who just picked up an STI so I drove the Audi to work. What are the odds.

^^^You angered the car gods somehow.

I think it's because you haven't properly reported on your mods.

I didn't know a youtube exhaust video held so much weight with the car gods. Lesson Learned.

May as well spill it, gonna be a few months possibly before I can get it installed.

It's a new FMIC from A.W.E. Tuning that will replace the stock SMIC setup. Reason why it's going to take a while to install is because I want to send it to Swain Tech to have them apply their BBE coating to improve its efficiency. I am also considering saving up for RS4 grilles and installing those while I have the bumper off for the FMIC install. I'll post pics of the FMIC after I open the box up for inspection.

I've also got a new Podi Digital Vent Gauge waiting to be installed that will be replacing my VMR Vent Boost Gauge. The new Gauge consists of four digital readouts. The four readouts will provide boost, fuel pressure, oil temp, and oil pressure readings.
