Well hello I was steered to this site to (challenge some acura's) as some one put it. I dont have a problem with acura or any other car company but i figured i would come here anyways. Heres the deal, the said person is saying that there arent any stock Maxima's that can beat CL's nor can my modded one beat any.

Usually this kinda of petty this is overlooked but the poster doesnt seem to go away. Now what i want to know is, what are the fastest posted times by 1. Stock TL's and CL's 2. Times for modded ones. I also will link you to the said forum where all the drama is going on if you would like to take a look.

Again i am not here to start anything between two different scenes i just am trying to get a better understanding why he would come to a nissan board and say that Acura's and Honda's are better. I feel its kind of rude. Thanks for viewing.

 

Dude, we got retards here to, trolls who just anger the locals. Not every CL/TL guy and gal is an asshat, most of us are regular folk who just like our Acuras. Sorry if you got a nitwit on your Maxima forum, he doesn't represent us. I think you'll find in our off topic "car talk" section that the Maxima is a fairly well respected car around here.

FTR I suck at launching and have a lightly modded CLS 6MT best was a 14.717 at 97&change mph with a 2.363 60ft.

 

OK cool i ran a 12.6 and a 12.9 in my turboed max and says that i cant beat anything here. Im like wow ok. I dont know if you read any of the thread but it all is about a fellow members 12.9 run n/a. Said that it wasnt nothing. Go figure.

 

I'm quite sure I could run in the same area with a turbo and some launch practice. We have a member ThinJim who turbo'd a CL with rather impressive results.

Other than Comptech Superchargers, there isn't anything off the shelf for a CL, you need to design and fabricate if you want a turbo.

We pretty much understand that drag racing any front drive vehicle is an exercise in failure but we have really nice cars that are quick so we like to take them to the track and see what they can do. CL's are more about elegance and speed, not speed alone.

I like the Maxima 95-09 is all good in my book. Some are faster, some are slower than the TL/CL. Either car has great potential and look nice as well.

 

Definitely not one of ours. People like that get run off of our board quicker then they get run off of boards like yours.
