As great a performance value as the new Si may be, I would not have dowgraded from the TSX to get one.

That is a nice one though.

They're both gorgeous- I almost traded the TL in for one in that color

 

Honda's definitely got a great design for that car, huge improvement over past civics and definitely the egg shaped SI

Looks better than the RSX, but let's see that Civic Si take on these cars:

Civic Si (197hp) vs. S2000 (240hp): Si would lose
Civic Si (197hp) vs. RX-8 (238hp): Si would lose
Civis Si (197hp) vs. RSX-S (201hp): Would be close, but Si would lose just barely I think

 

Civic Si (20,000) vs S2000 (34,000)
Civic Si (20,000) vs RX-8 (27,000)
Civic Si (20,000) vs RSX-S (24,000)

Don't see where you're getting at. Aside from the RSX, those cars aren't even in the civic's class.

 

Horsepower isn't everything.

Well, that's not fair, this Si is a 2 dr and the TSX is a 4 dr. Plus the Si is lighter, of course it would beat a TSX.

They were all 2 dr sports cars with 4 cylinder engines vs the Civic Si which is also has a 4 cylinder engine and 2 drs

I like the cars though but those Konig's ruin the second car for me. I think they look cheap.

 

for the silver on black konig rims....but personally i like the first cars rims better....goes better with the color of the car....
