Now imagine that the 70 GSX came with the 455 Stage II option . . . and note that no specs were ever given for it.
And note that the Stage 1 1970 GS was the 9th fastest rated car. I'd bet that the Stage II would have been pushing the top 5 very hard.

The 1985 Grand National is the wrong one for this class. It was an 8.0 0-60 16 second car.
It is the 1986-19878 intercooled version that you want. It was the 4.9 sec 13.9 1/4 factory car.....
I hyad a 1986 T Type with this motor.
I was running 11.20's at 124 when I sold it--- with minor mods.

Once again...........
Two seat sports cars such as the Chevrolet Corvette and Ford Shelby Cobra are not considered muscle cars due to their high price and specialty nature. The only exception is the AMC AMX as it was relatively cheap, and was based on the AMC Javalin pony car.

i think from the muscle car link some of those cars are in the wrong order ......... and those cars had shitty ass tires and were very underrated ... if they said the hemi and the 454 were 13.1 it was low 12s with slicks
