Oh wow...I saw a Mercedes McLaren SLR
I was on my way home from work yesterday and noticed in the corner of my eye the rear end of a brand new Benz...one that looked familiar; like the new SLR. At first I thought it was just a new SLK and thought nothing of it. But as I passed slowly, I looked over and noticed it was a fucking SLR! I couldn't believe my eyes. I ended up pulling over at a gas station to park, and realized that I had my digi camera with me. I was only able to take 2 shots of it, and they're not the greatest as it was on the move. The damn car was at some LITTTTTTTTTTTLE ass private school for dweebs and he was picking up his son .... punk bitch. Anyways, here are the pics

I've seen a Porsche GT in the east end of Toronto close up. So seeing this car may not be as exciting.

I love the SLR but I would take 2 of either a DB9 or F430 for the price of an SLR.

I saw the car pictured in their thread at the dealership (unless they sold multiples of this car in silver at this dealership), and it was marked up to over $900K. Absolutely amazing the $$ people will spend to get this car, but I assume it will hold its value well. All I know is that if I could afford one, I wouldn't be driving it on the streets of Van Nuys!
