Just out of curiousity does anyone know what you are charged with if you get caught offroading, mostly under powerlines. I would take it you get charged with trespassing but can u get charged with wreckless driving or anything and what kind of penalties can u get? Thanks and I live in NC anyone know the specific NC laws

 

I think you can only get charged with tresspassing. offroading is not driving wrecklessly. we used to take my friends G offroadin by teh powerlines back in IL, and boy was it a blast.

 

I took my Bronco II when I first got it on the beach in a state park. Didn't get too far. Cops rolled up real quick. Got 2 tickets. 1 for driving off the road, the other for driving over the sidewalk.

 

all depends where you are going, could be a warning or could be a pile of tickets.

 

Cops could also give you a wrekles driving ticket. The law is vague in NY when it comes to offroading so they might warn you, or they might hit you with every ticket they can. I went off roading with my boy in his fathers oldsmobile cutlas a few years back, it was fucking nuts. We were doing about 40mph down hill, we caught air, it was nuts.

and my jeep broken down in the middle of the trail and I was about to just go kill myself before my mom did cause if I didn't get it out I was fucked!!! My starter is just messed up I think but after like 20 min of my freaking out we were finally able to get it jumped and i drove out and straight to the carwash and straight home w/o turning the engine off but it was acting really ghetto and I barely made it home. but yea it was a blast!!!
