At this point, it seems like nearly everything that can be done to a Subaru has been done. A slammed WRX? Mhm. A lifted Crosstrek? Yup, seen it. That's not to say each build isn't cool in its own right, but it's hard to stay fresh when these platforms are constantly being modified by someone else. Apparently, though, the way to remedy this is by doing something so off-the-wall that you can't help but be the only one with such a radical ride. Enter this battle-converted Outback pickup with a supercharger sticking out through its hood.
I know you don't live in Japan anymore, but you could just regularly go to bosozoku meets and capture enough fuel to keep this thread alive until the end of days.

I'm trying to go back. If I do, whoa Nelly. I will eat and drive like I stole it
I would love to permanently reside there, but maintain my American work schedule sigh.
Permanently. So I'm trying to get my old job back. it's 50/50 odds and my timing might be just right (about 18 months from now). Can't say too much . If it works out, I'll probably retire there. On an island 67 miles long and 15 miles wide at its widest. Not a great place to drive a car fast, but I can have some cool cars.
Last week, a member of Canada's Sheriff Highway Patrol pulled over the truck-and-trailer combination you see below near the small town of Grimshaw, located in the western region of the Alberta province
...
[O]fficial inspection of the visibly inadequate towing setup revealed it to be in violation of 21 different road statures
...
For starters, Sheriffs say the load exceeded the tires' weight rating by over 3,000 kilograms (over 6,600 pounds), posing the risk of a blowout. Had the trailer's tires popped, its completely unsecured load could have come loose, possibly dragging along or falling off onto the road. Stopping the vehicle before the mobile home sustained serious damage would've been difficult, as the trailer had no working brakes, and was barely attached to the truck in the first place.
"During the inspection, the officer also noted that the trailer hitch had no locking mechanism—meaning the only thing keeping it attached to the vehicle was the sheer weight of the load on the trailer," stated Alberta Sheriff on Facebook.
When I see this I don't know if I should feel sorry for them (can't afford new tires) or angry (don't give a damn). Either way they are a danger to themselves and everyone around them.
^ Must have been hauling cement or bricks and blew out his rear shocks.
Ha. You'd think.

They just never rotated their tires. Rear tires were the same type of tire and looked to have easily 50%+ tread life left.
