Giertz got tired of waiting for Elon Musk to release Tesla’s first pickup truck, so she made one herself
Simone Giertz was tired of waiting for Elon Musk to unveil his new Tesla pickup truck, so she decided to make one herself. The popular YouTuber and self-described “queen of shitty robots” transformed a Model 3 into an honest-to-god pickup truck, which she dubs “Truckla” — and naturally you can watch all the cutting and welding (and cursing) on her YouTube channel. There’s even a fake truck commercial to go along with it.
...
“My goal is to never own a gas car,” Giertz said. “I’m a part of a new generation of drivers that will only drive electric. I feel like I should pad this a little bit, but I’m not going to. Fuck oil companies. Seriously, fuck them.”

He must of been headed to the salt flats to put down a vmax. I actually saw a Kia Optima with that type of wing on it the other day. It exited before I could snap a pic.

Police in Brazil shut down factory making fake Ferraris and Lamborghinis
Father and son accused of offering the cars on social media for $45,000 to $60,000 – a fraction of the price of the real thing
Police in Brazil say they’ve shut down a clandestine factory that was producing fake Ferraris and sham Lamborghinis.
A father and son who owned the workshop in the southern state of Santa Catarina have been arrested on industrial property charges.
Police said the cars were being offered on social media for $45,000 to $60,000 – a fraction of the price of the real thing.
Officials didn’t say what sort of parts were used to build the vehicles, but they distributed photos showing sleek bodies, as well as badges and accessories emblazoned with the Italian brands.
Monday’s raid followed a complaint by the Italian companies.
Eight partially finished vehicles were seized in the raid, and police said they are investigating how many were made.
If the buyer cannot tell the difference between a real Lambo and a $45k Lambo.... then they deserve to be scammed...
if the final product performs and looks exactly the same as the real one at $45k... fuck yah!!!

As a function over form kind of guy, a Bugatti Veyron built on an '02 Mercury Cougar 170hp V6 rather than the 1200hp W-16 might be the worst thing I've ever seen.
I'm sure it might appeal to somebody though.
