Agreed, the previous GX wasn't bad, & was pretty quick as I recall.
Had to go fill one up when I was working for a Chevrolet dealer (used car). Torrential downpour & small gaps to get into traffic. Just stuck & took off with no slippage

GX looks like the 4Runner was hit with the ugly stick. Toyota went full retard on that one.

Apart from the beak, one of the things that bugs me the most about that design - it's honestly a mistake, from a design perspective - is the location of the rear door handles in relation to the fender flare. You just don't do that in design.

 

Why would they put Sienna SE-like taillights on a GX? That and the huge reflectors in the headlights next to nice-looking projectors kinda kills it for me since IMO a design like the older LS600hL would look better.
