Nice photography on the Speedhunters photo. And it's hilarious because the hideous rides definitely look like they were done on purpose. And the Jason mask is a nice addition.

They're an aweful factory (dealer installed) option. They almost never line up right.
Have a friend that used to do new car PDIs & some accessory installation. Even when trying to do it right, it came out wrong.

Seems legit
One my way to work the other day I whitnessed a classic rear end accident. 90's Civic vs 90's Explorer. The Civic hit the Explorer so hard it dropped the spare tire out from underneath the rear bumper. The hood on the Civic was crumpled and smoke was pouring out from the engine compartment.
While driving home yesterday I glanced in my rear-view mirror...and who did I see following too close behind?
You guessed it, same Civic, hood taped shut.
