I know why they did it, but that doesn't make this abomination any easier to stomach...it makes me cringe when I think what other cross-breeds manufacturers are going to come up with...Bugatti/Tata, Ferrari/Kia, Lamborghini/????

WTF @ the Cygnet/iQ. I always thought that one was weird car for Aston to have, though I understand the reasons. I never made the connection between the iQ and the Cygnet though. wow

As a fan of Corvettes, I am open to all kinds of mods/conversions, so long as it compliments the car. I flipped over my calendar from November to December a few days ago to find this...The C5 Avelate Corvette...It has been bothering me for a few days now, and I just had to post this

 

 

It's reminiscent of past gen stingrays.. not fugly imo.

 

I don't know...an homage is one thing, when properly executed. IMO, this just isn't well done; it's over the top.

 

I can see where the Stingray parts are, but it doesn't work with a C5. it looks horrible

I get all that; but, it's still not (and never will be) an "M" car. Similarly, I would decry putting AMG badges on a Dodge Neon (when the two companies were one), or "F" badges on a Corolla, or "S" badges on an Eos, or "V" badges on a Cruze.

 

True.. but a lot of "M Sport" packaging.. like on the 135i, is just cosmetic.
