But I'd still have a C63 Estate over it. Again, not available here.
Yeah, I really like the C63S Estate it's faster and is looks good. But something about an RS4 Avant in Nardo Grey that pulls me in..And while my experience with 4-MATIC in my previous ML's was good it's not quattro, and I get to pocket about $10K.. But seriously I'll take either so feel free to throw one my way..LOL
Some of Europe’s most enticing cars don’t ever make it to the United States, and the Audi RS4 Avant is likely to remain one of them. Due to Americans’ aversion toward station wagons, Audi has decided not to send it here, although we get parts of it divided between the mechanically similar RS5 coupeand the four-cylinder A4 Allroad, an A4 Avant that uses a raised suspension and plastic body cladding to cosplay as a crossover.
I want someone to negotiate away the "25 year rule" for imports. I say let people import what they want. An Audi RS4 Avant will not kill more people in the US than it does where it is currently sold. There is no safety issue with it. Just bureaucratic, protectionist BS.
So how about a Nissan Stagea with the RB26 motor? Not everyone's cup of tea.
If I wasn't worried about reliability man this would be a tempting upgrade.
Kleeman Stage 3 upgrade increases output to 850 horsepower and 960 lb-ft of torque. It included an ECU flash, new turbos, down pipes, and cat-less exhaust.

You think they are high mileage reliable though the way the V should be? I have put over 17k on it since I got it back from the rebuild in March. Most likely will average 20k miles a year for the next few years. So will push it close to 200k. Something about trying to get a twin turbo Merc to do the same just scares me.

I don't see why not. We were pushing 100k on the E350 and that thing never went to the dealer outside of maintenance. It was better than my TLS. And when we did bring it in for regular service it was like arriving at the Waldorf-Astoria
I've never been afraid of the C-Class or E-Class... especially anything since the mid to late 2000s. Tons of high mileage examples running around of both models. If it was an S-Class I'd be a little more leary, but I wouldn't think twice about a C or E. Not sure how they'd related to the Caddy, but personally, I'd take MB quality over Cadillac. I know the CTS-V is not a regular Caddy, but still...

I almost bought an S4 Avant with that same V8 but after reading if you hear a tick it's a time bomb and it's $4K if you fix yourself or $8K at Audi, I passed,

didn't feel like it, the damn thing was gorgeous...
i really wish it had had the 2.7TT but then THAT is just as bad of a mission to work on...
3.0 SC is it...B8 FTW
It is crazy that it only got to that price since the Manual, Recaro, No sunroof, with only 6k miles just a few days earlier sold $65.5k just a few days early. It was pretty mint though.
Good to know you will be joining me back in a Vagon in a year or so
