You can get a 2013 Allroad for about $38k with 5-8k miles on it. I think I might go that route first. Amazingly, the 2011 A6 3.0T is still in the mid-$40Ks if you can find a rare one with the S-Line option.

I wonder if the Golf Sportwagen (which is what they're calling it now) will have the 1.8T and TDI or get the 2.0T too. And which will get the 6MT.

It's a good looking wagon and my previous Jetta was a good car with a crappy engine.

I just got back from looking at Allroads at the Audi dealership. I'm head over heels for that car. The salesman said that the 2015s will have an updated navigation system and offer a diesel engine.

Also, TIL that the new Allroad doesn't have adjustable suspension like the previous model. It is basically an A4 Avant sitting on the Q5 chassis.

Looks great from that angle. When I was working for a Chevrolet dealer in college, we had a couple TDI 6MT Jetta Wagens traded in. Peppy little cars.

Audi UK's website states that the A4 Allroad diesel gets 48.7 mpg combined (Imperial gallons). That's 58.5 mpg in US gallons.

That can't be right, can it?

The proportions look weird for some reason. Plus it's too big.

I'd really like an AWD 6MT wagon the size of a 3-series ... That's not a BMW

I have the 5, it's the 3 that's not the right size unless you're small or a chick

Some of us don't want a 16-foot long car.

Edit: The 3-series is a foot shorter. The Jetta Sportwagen is slightly smaller than that.

Either the 5-series is small or I'm not well.

That's probably the color I would get unless I could find one with the full body color paint.

I love Moonight Blue Metallic but it's not an option for full body I don't want white, silver, or black. I'm worried how the grey plastic will hold up over time.

This is another clean on over at Audizine.

The Allroad just needs a set of proper wheels and springs to be a stunning looking car on the road.

Mind you, black rims look better on a white vehicle. At least I think so.

Okay fine...on second thought, they are more gunmetal than black. But, still...black enough.

Fookin' hell. That's amazing. That car as a diesel might be the perfect car for me. Yeah it won't be exciting but it'll be really nice and get good mileage.

I wish. I needed some wheels stat for my Bridgestone winters...so, the Lorenzos were the cheapest I could find in a hurry.

Still set me back $1400 I think?
