I would have bought a Legacy GT 6MT wagon if there had been such a car in the US.

They didn't have it available when we bought the Avant.

Super clean, minus the stickers. Front bumper is just alright as well. Could be better. But in MT, would be great fun to drive.

I wish wagons would sell better in the US. I'd love to see more of them!

Sounds great, until you read the whole article.

"Of those nine, eight have been pre-sold. Six will be destroyed as press fleet vehicles by voracious wagon-loving media members, one has been reserved as a corporate errand car at BMW's North American headquarters and one is headed to its South Carolina museum to be preserved for posterity. That leaves just a single 2014 BMW M5 Sports Wagon xDrive35d set to be offered to the public - a sales challenge that even BMW admits will be tough to overcome."

Dear Leftlane, there should be no such thing as a M5 xDrive35d.

I did read the whole article and the upshot is that BMW wants to build a tempered down version of the same car for the USA.

The only redeeming qualities are that it IS still an Avant and that it has a FMIC. Besides that, no thanks.

I wish we had the A6 Avants here again. The A6 3.0T Avant they stopped selling in 2011 was the closest thing we're getting to a S4 Avant again

Whoever owns that car painted the tips of the spokes to match the paint. Looks nasty IMO. Should have left the tips of the spokes the original gun metal color.

You know, I don't mind it? On something else, I'd hate it...but, I think it works well in this instance.

That or, I'm just blinded by "Audi" and "Avant". And overlooking the tipped rims.

I dont like the wheels on this, but I don't mind the car. Looks "rugged" if that's what I can call it, and packs a punch I bet looking at that piping. Those Allroads and their twin turbo can be pretty fast

If you stuck a LEGO brick on there, I would have pulled the LEGO brick off and added it to my collection.

The wheels on that Allroad don't fit it at all. They would look fine on an Evo or 240sx, but it looks really out of place like that.

Yummy is clearly blind thinking that craptastic rims work on that car.
