Official Pics Of Tsx!

This car will have two versions. A base model and a TypeS. The base will have a 180hp 2.4L and the 220hp 2.4L Type S w/ 6MT.

I love the aggressive look of the hood!!!! The look sorta reminds of the IS300. Interior looks very clean. The red back lighting gives that german sports car look. Although I like our back lighting, the red looks cool Projector headlights

That's what I was thinking. The back lights remind me of a 97-01 camry, and the doors remind me of the new es300. Otherwise, not that bad i guess.

Rear looks a bit like the last generation Camry while the entire car, IMO, looks like a smaller Accord (possibly a Civic). Interior looks a bit like the new Accords (esp. that center console).

I still like the TL/CL look better...but that's just me

It looks small in the front, and then it gets a big ass as you go to the rear, at first glance, I don't like it.

Strange... that's still the 2003 Euro Honda Accord... the same pics everyone has been posting as the TSX. If you even look closely at the picture form the rear you can see the word Accord over the passenger side taillight.

Now, it has been rumored that the Euro Accord may share some similarities with the future TSX, but nothing about the TSX has been announced for North America, so you're really just looking at the pics of the 2003 Euro Honda Accord.

As further proof, the website you're posting the pics from is a European website ( www.automagazine.be ). I wouldn't get too excited yet as things can change when it comes here....

The exterior is about as plain vanillia as you can get - looks just like the new Accord to me. It better drive sweet 'cause there is no way it can compete w/ the 3 series on looks IMO!

BTW - not Acura hating here, love my CL, just not the look of the TSX

Maybe, but, like I said in the post you quoted, nothing has been announced for the US, so you're still just looking at an Accord. It could be a glimpse into the future, but it's definitely not official pictures....

Hey Juniorbean...doesn't it look like an Accord to you?

So if that is what the TSX will "resemble" what will the difference be between the Accord Sedan and TSX? Badging? like what they did with the Acura EL and Honda Civic?

Did anyone else notice the blinkers on the side view mirros...

No, why.. who said that... you putting words in my mouth?

I think it will probably be along the lines of the EL/Civic.... although they may change the shape a little bit to fit the Acura lineup and move it away from the Accord look since it will be an Acura in the states.....

This sure isn't a TL replacement, but a four door RSX:
This car will have two versions. A base model and a TypeS. The base will have a 180hp 2.4L and the 220hp 2.4L Type S w/ 6MT.

haha that's so funny... you're right it is an accord... who the hell called this thing a TSX? it says ACCORD right on the back... I tyhink it looks like crap personally... as do both the new accords... as a matter of fact none of the new hondas look decent except maybe that Civic SI hatch thingy... they look cheap and choppy... the new accords don't look close to as good as this past generation or the one before... they just look like oversized civics... I think someone needs to kick honda in the butt before they try to wreck the NSX and make it look like the POSs that they're starting to do on the other cars... hopefully there won't be a crappy design replacement for the CLS and TLS in the near future...

The October Car and Driver (pg. 33) has a little write up on it. 2.4 VTEC 190/163 w/ a 6 speed manual or 5 speed auto. The TSX name isn't official yet. They said wheelbase will be about 3 inches shorter than the Accord sedan (close to the coupes at 105.1 inches).

Everybody,
YES IT LOOKS LIKE AN ACCORD BECAUSE IT'S BASED ON THE EURO_ACCORD_TYPE_R!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET OVER IT!

juniorbean,
They are official pictures. This pics were first posted on the vtec.net website and then Honda asked them to remove the pics because they aren't authorized. If they were wrong.....Honda wouldn't give a shit.....obviously they do and the pictures were removed. This car formaly known as the "UD" has been hush-hush for quite a long time now as it will be a great competitor against the is300, audi, bmw etc.,

You keep saying this and of course it's a rumor right now because it's not fact but the preponderance of the evidence suggest that the pics that have been posted are of the TSX.

Yes, the information is from Europe etc., But if you have been paying attention to the intell, you'll know that the TSX will debute at the Paris auto show. Moreover, the TSX is going to be based on the euro-accord type R platform.

As for the Honda badge....yes, but look at the grill, look at the hood and the fascia it's Acura all the way.

civic4982,
Calm down. The NSX already went through a costmetic design change. Your comments about the design changes of the new accord etc., are VERY puzzeling to say the least. Honda has finally taken a chance on different styles and you are knocking them for it???? Who called it a TSX? Honda/Acura calls it a TSX....is that good enough for you??

If Lexus can take the Camry and rebadge it as the ES300, why can't Honda do the same thing?

Acura needs a replacement for the 4dr Integra. Viola! It should be reasonably priced as most of the manufacturing process has been proven/paid for. I really really wish Detroit was squared away enough to be pickin' plums instead of lemons from the family tree. Wish ya'll well.

It uses the new U.S. Accord's chassis right? Then it's bigger than RSX. By the way, it looks pretty good.

But thanks for the laugh. That car has about as much chance of stealing 3 series sales as a Kia does......
