he sold it to me last year you douche. I forgot you know everything that goes on with my family. he got a 2008 GL1800. I bought the 2005. I'll probably trade it on the new bodystyle once it comes out 2013 or 2014.

Interesting. You claim that he sold it to you last year, yet two years prior to this you claimed (quite adamantly if I recall correctly) the bike to be yours.

You are indeed correct terry. But you see, the pathological liar that Water is, he cannot keep all of the lies straight.

2002 SV650s
Here's my 2002 SV650s.
Unfortunately, I need to finalize registration for the bike and wait for my gear to get here before I can start riding it Already took the passenger grab bar since my wife has no desire to ride on the back. The bike came with the lower fairings, I'm not sure if I really want to keep them on (any inputs)? Here are some mods coming soon:
-Zero Gravity Double Bubble Windscreen
-Motosliders frame and swingarm sliders
-Tank pad
-Fender eliminator
-Rear seat cow

^ Nice!!
I personally like the lower fairings on the SV... but that's just me. Also keep in mind that removing the lower fairings will introduce more wind on you when riding. That bothers some people... some it doesn't. So you may just have to try it and see which config you prefer.

Damn that's clean! Whoever had it took really good care of it. You ever thought about turning it into a naked/streetfighter? I can see it easily with that bike...remove the upper and lower fairings, throw on twin round headlights, and BAM! Hotness!
Really nice bike, though!

Don't plan on going with the streetfighter look, but the naked SVs are hot.

I ended up buying a Puig Racing Screen just so I had a little something up front for future riding. I also cleaned up the bike today since I'm supposed to head up to Concord for a bike meet if the showers hold off.... so enjoy a few pics...

^ Thanks!! It's an Aprilia Tuono.
Here is the thread I made when I bought it which has some more details.... https://acurazine.com/forums/car-talk-5/new-bike-just-got-delivered-722936/

Yeah, it was hard to find a screen that looked good and was functional. After wading through a very, very long topic on the Aprilia forum, I decided to go with the Puig screen. Not too much larger then stock, but much more effective.
And yesterday I did a 35 mile ride to Concord to go to a bike meet and 90% of the ride is highway. Let me tell you.... what a HUGE difference. At 75mph I could actually turn my head verses feeling like my head weighed 100lbs. Much nicer and only took about 4-5 minutes to install...

Woot! So I am sitting at my desk working....
my buddies are out riding in Eastern Washington as they are retired and the one buddy who knows the Sales Manager out in Yakima HD brokers a deal/trade in for me. I have been kinda looking to trade my 2003 Harley Roadglide in for a 2010 Harley Roadglide. So my buddy gives the Manager the info and he calls me and says, here is the deal. Not a great deal but a good deal. And I did not have to go dicker with anyone. So next week, I have to ride 120 miles and trade out bikes.
Will post up pictures next week, when I get the bike. It's a 2010 Harley Roadglide in red.

Is Ducati Monster 696 a good bike for someone who's just starting?
I'm not sure if I want to go through the hassle of buying something cheap and then reselling later..
EDIT: By something cheap, i meant something like ninja 250 or something i know i will want to sell later. I think I can live with Monster for a long time.
