Go Pro's are tough cameras! I like how the side airbags deploy as the car starts to roll. Occupants only had scratches by the description... but the M3 didn't fair so well. Not sure what he was following, but looks like a better driver, that's for sure.

that's a world record for GT-Rs? Is there some other restriction, like daily driver or something?

Don't get me wrong, that's amazingly fast. I just expected it to be capable of low or sub 7s or something. I am impressed at how smooth the idle is.

I was hoping to find some news on this regarding citations/insurance issues. Came across the M3 board. It takes 2 pages for someone to finally stand up and say this guy got what he deserved. It looks like this may have happened awhile ago at Tortilla Flats in AZ, and he waited until the insurance policy wrapped up before releasing video. I hope he ends up in jail.

Turns out there was an insurance agent following the thread. He breaks the law, he lies, he steals the insurance money and drives everyone else's premiums up, and then, it's not worth the money to punish.

7's is such an incredibly hard area to break into for a street car, so much that some don't even consider Larry's a proper "street" car. It takes stripped-out, 1,200+whp Supras just to break into the low 8's, high 7's.
