Don't worry, I'm sure he still will...
Too bad it was wet out there, would have been fun to see them playing on a dry track.

Yea, they haven't been a dominating force on the race tracks in SCCA, etc

well for one, he's running DR's, so they are far from pointless and actually needed. Long extravigant burnouts in normal street tires are pointless. But a quick little one is still good because you need to create heat in the tire.
But things like NT555R's, BFG drag radials, etc definately need a burnout to heat up the tires.
I notice a good difference with even my T1R's heated and cold (my car is f'ing scary with cold tires)

Underground builds some badass cars. A good friend of mine, and former roommate bought a Saleen S351 that he built....google Saleen Flyby and thats the car. The guy he bought it from had replaced it with a viper that was being built by Underground as well.

how can you respect at car that doesn't even come with the OPTION of having a clutch?

After personally seeing a brand new white STI last sunday, I have to say the the new subbie is hot. my wife did not like the hatch body style, but I think that for the perormance and clean body lines, the STI is a winner.
