The Official Car Talk Video Thread
Jeff Zwart in the Porsche GT3 Cup Turbo Hill Climb Special, during Pikes Peak 2014. Soon after leaving the starting line, one of the fuel pumps begins to fail, only to get worse by the summit. Watch as Jeff battles the malfunction in real-time, at speeds upwards of 140mph. The first time a mechanical issue appeared, even after months of testing and practice runs with the car.
Impressive.

Mark Still is a man of limited sports car experience, but is long on fabrication skill. So when he decided he wanted to build a hillclimbing monster, he started with what he was into: old Corollas. Now, his 1975 Coupe has the V8 and subframe from a Lexus SC400, an Eaton M112 Supercharger from a Mustang Cobra, a T56 6-speed gearbox, and everything else is completely custom. We love it.
