Which is what had me so intrigued that I had to look it up. I had no idea what it was other than the front end and a pillars looked to be from a 356. IMO being built on a 914 frame is better as it gives it the mid engine layout.

did you know the Tesla uses an array of laptop batteries as its power source? this was done to reduce cost, effectively saving them from having to develop any kind of proprietary battery.
