I agree but for most people the build is 49% of the fun!

I always wonder why people sell such beautiful and powerful automobiles.

I wish I had the dough. That is a nice NSX.

I saw the thread on nsxprime about the build of this car. It's absolutely amazing and this guy put tons of effort into it. It is a sweet car and if I had the money, I would be all over it.

Someone posted the link here and people ripped on him for trying make his NSX look like an NSX-R.

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ighlight=NSX-R

I believe this was also the same guy that had a dealer wreck his NSX (a blue one he had before this one)

that is a piece of machinery. sad that it's a garage queen with less than 2000 miles on it, the owner didn't reall get to enjoy it too much either.

he had a blue nsx that he drove quite often until the dealer wrecked it while it was in for some service.

This new NSX was bought and immediately transformed into the NSX-R you see in the auction. IIRC, he bought it with something like 4 miles on the odometer not too long ago.

yep, exactly what i had in mind. any diehard automotive enthusiast would look at you and think, "it may not be that fast off the line or prestigous, but he did one hell of a job"

of course, its S/Ced, so you'd suprise the hell out of them

Some people with money build up cars just to say they did, and end up selling them.

I was thinking the same thing. The car alone is, what, $80-90K? I just don't get it.

Did you read the mods? What car could outperform that NSX for 100K or less? I think it would give a Z06 or 911S a run for it's money. It will outhandle a Viper. It's worth the price.

I'd probably spend the money on a porsche, but you can't say that car is over-priced

And, for 100K you would have a rare vehicle that you could probably sell later for what you paid for it.
