not trying to one-up you (really) but I'm just never really impressed by any of these auto-x videos. the exception being the Ken Block videos.
if I want to see real driving, I throw this one in the VCR:
this is the 1987 RUF Yellow Bird, it is about as raw a road-going sports car as you will find. 469hp with a top speed 211 mph because it only weighs 2579 lbs. No traction control, no electronics, nothing to help you keep the car on the road. You probably seen this video already but if you haven't, take a look. this is the real deal.

That guy in the Yellowbird either has testicular fortitude beyond comparison or is absolutely batshit.
Driving on the Nurburgring on Forza or Gran Turismo is scary, lol can't imagine doing it in real life while drifting.

I believe that is Stefan Rosler. He had another video some years back in the RT12.

The only thing that I don't like about the Ken Block videos is how many takes it took to piece together the entire videos. Days worth of shooting probably. Amazing 'ring video, btw.
Change the thread title to Greatest Drivers of All Time thread.
Epic = soooo 2010.
2 things.

No doubt hes a bad ass, and can auto-x with the best of them..but those Gymkhana videos are all about flare and wow factor.

TBH, it should be expected. A lot of those stunts, esp. involving someone else would be incredibly hard to do on just 1 take.
Iirc on Fantasy Factory, they had to keep doing a few retakes because Rob & Ken would nearly collide.

Im really suprised there isn't 3 or 4 of the cars. He had to have broken at least one of them....plus tire changes every hour.
According to Ken...2 days for "Gymkhana 1" and 3 days for "Gymkhana 3."
