Move to FL, no emissions testing. Not sure about dmv issues or anything else though, but I can tell you I've seen a few here driving on the roads. My best friend's neighbor has a stock R33 parked in their driveway every couple of weeks or so (my friend thinks it's a relative of his neighbor) and every so often I see an modified R34 driving to the local Advance Auto Parts store. There are a lot of police officers around here, just in my friends neighborhood alone there is about 15 cops living within two miles of my friend house (his neighborhood has about 300 houses).

that edmunds article is from 2005. motorex has since gone outta business cus they crash tested one model skyline and declared it fit for all 3 model skylines but the DMV found out about it. in addition, the dude from motorex had some legal problems i think unrelated to his business. i don't know about importing one or if it can even be done anymore. anyhoo, you're on the wrong board for this kind of info. u would probably have much more success on us based skyline forums.

My friend was gonna bring his back from Japan. Now he is in the airforce so I dont know how they go about shipping it and what it costs and what not, but I know he told me that it was gonna cost about 14k just to have everything done to it to bring it here.

www.japan-partner.com . The crew uses a different exporter but this a good one too, if things go good there will be a RHD Civic Type R, Integra, Accord Wagon and Silvia

Nah not too much but from I been told it's better to get it done sooner than later cause they are making it more difficult to bring them over, atleast in the tri-state area its not too bad, I think there is about 10 in NJ/NY area..
