At least "..and that was Aspen" BMW, and the new MB commercials are more exciting and reveal honest truth.
IMO anyway
However, Nissan is up and coming and I expect that Honda will see some challenges.

from what I have heard the Chassis of the new Nissans lag behind thier engine power. Meaning that the brakes and suspention just aren't able to effectively deal with the speed that comes with 240-255hp.
Is this true?

but the problem with the altima is the cost cutting in the interior (from what some of you have posted). they had to cut costs somewhere to undercut the competition, but they didn't balance it out throughout the whole car.
i think that toyota's kinda got the same problem, but opposite of nissan (nissan cut costs to maximize performance, toyota minimized performance to maximize comfort).
i think that acura did a great cost-cutting job on the cl/tl...nothing was done great, and nothing was too lacking. everything was well, and i think that's why the tl sells so well, because the majority of people don't want to sacrifice anything, and the closest they can get to that is everything being done well.

You know why, they took the old model and added 15 more hp and thats it. They didn't upgrade anything including the suspention. See that is why Honda is better than Nissan cause they take there time to make there car better, look at the 2001 CL-S which was upgraded for the more hp and speed. Is perfectly balanced.

I sat in a new 2001 Maxima a while back
and thought interior was dam cheap compared
to CLS. When I closed the door it felt like
a piece of tin compared to the much heavier
Acura door. No comparison on interior
quality even if the Acura cost a bit more.
