Nissan 370z vs Hyundai Genesis Coupe
#121
How can you guys know which car you like better without driving both?
I have driven lots of cars with high hopes because of their rep, or review and many times didnt like it. For example 09 Maxima, 09 WRX, 08 Altima 3.5 MT. I have more but cant recall them.

Its funny how there has been > 120 post on this subject and no mentioned the overall size of these two cars.

Fact is that the Genesis coupe more compares to the G37 than the 370Z matchbox
Put some 275-35-19's on the Genesis coupe like the G37 and I'll take the Genesis coupe

The 370Z would or should be the quicker of the three base on weight and hp.
The genesis should makeup some ground by getting into its torque range earlier.

That said, I don't think one needs to worry too much about said conflict.

I think a better question for me is which is not as ugly..lol...and I would say the Genesis is not as ugly. I just can't stand the tear-drop headlights and tailights of the 370Z as well as the fangs. I guess it's just me though lol as most of you seem to like these two cars. Don't get me wrong though, I think the general profile of both cars look great, but I just don't like the details, especially the 370Z. The front end of the Genesis doesn't work for me.

I won't buy a Nissan. If you have spend $37k to get the sport package, bluetooth, and leather then they deserve to be smacked for trying to gouge us like that.
Don't care how good the car is, I'll wait, buy it used and Nissan won't get a nickel from me for it.

That side profile looks awesome. I think it could look even better if the wing was lost and the door handles didn't bulge out like that. make them flush with a recess to open the door like the vette.
And the sharp line on the top of the windshield to the back is so reminiscent of the old skool z.

I think both are nasty but the hyundai looks better when modified. I'm a z lover deep down inside, I owned two of them, an 06' and a 07' HR model.

I still have issues with the front and rear.

Or you could spend more than twice that for a Cayman S with identical performance as the Z.
