My mom wants an MDX but she doesn't know when to buy. My dad is thinking that this summer will be the best because the new model will be comming out in September and he will be bale to get one for her cheap but I haven't heard any word.. Anyone know anything of when the next MDX is comming out and what it should look like/details?? Thanks

 

Unless your mom actually needs the delivery-van size of the MDX she should check out the Lexus RX330. The Lexus dealers were more eager to deal than the Acura folks so I ended up with a Lexus with more features for the price of an MDX.

 

Rx is more of a lady's SUV, and the MDX is the opposite.

 

my mom faced this dilemma between the RX330 and MDX. The pricing for the two of them came out to be the same, so i guess acura screwed her over. so she had her heart set on the Lex. but then my dad decided that he would NEVER step foot in an RX.

she ended up with an AWD instead. A6 3.0. which is much more luxurious and cheaper than the RX and MDX.

 

I wish my mom would look at an AWD sedan but she has this fear that if she isn't up high, she isn't safe. weird.........
And we use the SUV for the dog.. because there is no way he's going in my TSX or my dads TL.. lol

 

Actually, I have the opposite problem with my mom. First of all, she doesn't need an SUV but she thinks she does...so a sedan is out of the question. She's always bought Explorers and my dad does nothing but complain about them...yet they don't seem to be open to buying something else. I tried to talk them into the MDX but they aren't interested. She actually liked the new M-class and SRX at the auto show but she'll end up getting a new Explorer anyway...and the complaining will go on. I don't get it.
