Well guys i did it gave up the CL TYPE S for the new TL 6speed i got the pachment color. car is incredible i must say in a 6 speed drove the auto it sucked in plain english my cl would of killed it but 6 speed a different story. hope to see you all over the summer i will be sportin the TL this summer tough

wasnt some guy at hotbimmer or one of the other bmw forums able to run a 14.1xx with a stock 03 cl-s 6-speed? im sure that 14.2 could be lower with an even better driver.

i got $17,700 for my cl i pushed them hard. and paid $33,500 with navi and six speed n not the best but not the worst either I think there lying about the 270hp no doubt about it. this car in a six speed is sick i think its more like 280 maybe even 290hp. we all know the new accord v6 is 260hp there dyno are the same as the cl

Wonder if the cams profiles are different? I believe compression
is up a tad bit.

 

From the couple of dyno's done so far it looks like they are making the advertised 270hp. Oh, and if I was able to pull a 2.16 60' I would be running 14.2 bone stock. The TL has 235/45 tires, so grip should be better than the Mishitlins we get.

 

the cams may be different it hits hard as hell all motor i have to talk to the techs to see what they can do to this to give it a little more kick pics are coming we have snow out here so its tough. but the savatar should be up soon

naw man...I told u guys vins car is fucking fast. Also on the TL site...someone dynoed an 04TL auto and got 219 at the wheels...then put in the K+N flat filter and got 225HP at the wheels. An 04TL auto that is driven well will smoke a CL-S by at least a car. Wait til March 27 cause I'm gonna drive Vins car a couple of times and I'll prove it. I guarrentee (spelled wrong) the car is capable of atleast a 14.4 stock!!!!!!

 

yea that 270 isn't really 270. I'm thinking 280-290 atleast.

A 6 speed dyno'd 230'ish I believe on a dynapack, so thats maybe 5-10hp more than a CL-S6.

 

plus not tom mention a member here (forgot who) w/ a CL-S6 ran an 04 TL 5AT and claimed that up to forth gear they were neck and neck...
