New SMG II semi-auto tranny for new M3!!

I always liked the M3, especially the new 2002 model. This fall you can even buy one with the new SMG II semi-automatic transmission. This is not a normal automatic transmission with semi-manual gear change function, like our CL, but a REAL manual transmission with electro-hydraulic actuated clutch, just like the Ferrari Modena 360 F1. You can leave it to full automatic mode or change gears like the real F1 driver by using the paddles on the steering wheels. It's already available in part of Europe and it will hit US in this fall. According to some European car magazines, there will be almost no loss in the performance compared to the regular 6 speed manual M3, which means that it will still hit 60mph in less than 5 sec! Check it out more information on the website below.

Considering it can make gear changes in 0.08 seconds at full throttle it might even be faster than the manual.
