I like the monster wheels, and that interior is awesome. I agree in not liking the exterior.

Not bad looking at all. The front does look a little camry/es300, and i think the rear looks kinda like the new bmw 645ci rear.

Something’s got to be downgraded.
The CL-S has a lot more “bells & whistles”, but the quality is definitely down.
And of course the “Made in USA” title doesn’t help.

I like it. It is a lot better than the last generation...plus we finally got a high horse powered AWD Acura...this will eventually spread to the other Acuras (hopefully).

The front end is very bland and does look a lot like the current Carolla and Camry. The rear end is very nice.

I saw it in person today at the NY Auto Show. I think it looks absolutely awesome in person! I was taken aback for a moment. They had a CL out next to it and the CL looked bland as hell. The pictures seem to bring out the Corolla/Camry look, but in person it looks *EXACTLY* like a Phaeton from the front, and a 645Ci from the back. I thought it was pimp.

WHy is it that i have to pay for every little thing in an Lexus, infinity, bmw, merc? The base price on those cars is often higher than that of Acuras. Why? Why is that I can purchase a bmw with CLOTH SEATS???????

Agreed 100%. price/value is what pushed me to Acura. I got the CL-S for the same price as a base 320i...cloth (or BMW VYNIL haha), no CD, 167Hp, steel rims, nothing fancy at all. I give the 320i the nod in exterior styling, but everywhere else, the CLS is the winner.

gimme a 2 door version and put a type s badge on it. car looks alright, I like the rear more than the front. The slope in the front and lights look too similar to camry/lexus. I think we should just wait and see what Acura has planned next. Maybe we will see an awd TL and coupe in the future. hopefully not too long. Still love my CL though!

I actually think with that very flat trunk the new RL looks like the last generation Accord in the rear and the current Accord in the front. I think the flat trunkline looks terrible. The whole car just doesn't flow well. It looks like many different cars all smashed into one.

Pass

Actually, I think the current RL is better looking than the new one.

Nice technology, though!
