Ford Ranger ran a stop sign. Same thing happened to my Lexus about 9 months ago.

Airbags did not deploy on the RR but they did on the little truck but nobody was injured. I live in Key West and traffic has been gridlocked almost everyday for a year now. Dumb asses take chances and don't look before going through intersections.

The RR will never be the same . Hopefully it wouldn't have a big impact on the resale value.

Friend of mine was hit. $23k in damage. Got it fixed and traded it for a new one when they gave her a great deal.

Word.

http://www.gtspirit.com/2011/11/07/c...-crushes-lada/

The link is an L320 generation with the heavy Steel body, the new one (L494 - pictured above) is a reinforced aluminum monocoque with a structural stiffness nearly 20% more than the previous generation. It'll be fine. Expensive. But fine.

EDIT: OP, that's not an ATB V8SC is it? If so, I envied you. Still waiting to find mine (Non-ATB, just V8SC)

That thing held up great considering the damage it did to the Ranger.

Seriously... they look like they were in two different accidents. Pretty impressive...

this story reminds me of the time I was looking at a Honda Civic that t-boned a E300-the Honda looked like it rain into a wall while the MBZ had a dented fender, door and deformed B pillar.
