It's merely OK. Some improvements overall, but you know, it's basically "lipsticking the pig". Not digging that front grille. Looks like it was made from some kind of exhaust heat shroud off an 18-wheeler or something.

Taillights are too small. Profile is greatly improved.

It's kind of strange how close the V6 and V8 are in power now. They need to up the V8 engine to ~340.

Trying to make the Mercedes Minivan look sporty? I guess it looks a little better.

The new ML is gorgeous...just looking at pictures, one can see how VAST the interior improvements are. I think that this new ML will steal some sales away from Lexus and BMW. Mercedes!

I think it looks good, it could use some more backend space though. It looks a little squat.

And I wouldn't even bring up the Kia Sorento. The Koreans aren't exactly world famous for bringing out original designs. Anyone could see that its design is a hodgepodge of the current M-Class and old Lexus RX300, so of course you would see resemblances. The new M-Class builds off of the looks of the old M-Class, not the Kia.

I have always thought that the ML was pretty ugly. As a matter of fact, I can't think of one MB that I would buy, even if I had the money (which I don't). I think there are better alternatives for all of them.
C class - TSX, BMW 3, G35, and so on
E class - Audi A6
CLS (I think that is right, this is a sharp car) - XJR
S class - XJ super V
SLK - Boxster
SL - 911, XLR
ML - to many to list

I see a trend...most Acura buyers are not interested in Mercedes-Benz vehicles. I think the image is too staid and is known for its luxury. Acura owners are more performance oriented, I believe. Acura owners seem cross shop with Audi and BMW, while Lexus owners cross shop with Mercedes and BMW
