After completing my homework, I am about to purchase either a 2005 or 2006 RL off lease, depending on availabilty. I will also consider a TL if I can't find an RL. My intent is to keep the car for as long as possible and to become an afficianado. I am looking for any guidance to maximize my ownership experience.

You might want to head over to the RL forum. Just click on the RL link at the top of the webpage. Good luck with the RL hunt.

If you want something sporty you should also check out the TL-S, but if you need AWD, you can't beat an RL

Welcome to Azine

As for off lease RL, finding an 05 may be an stretch as those were sold new between fall of 04-05 and with a 3 yr lease those would have been returned last year. However you should be able to find mostly 06 & some 07s trickling in now .

Welcome aboard. If you have questions, be sure to go to the right forum 9RL/TL/etc...). This one (car talk) is great for everything except an Acura.
