That is from bmwnation. Read that article last week...SMG2 is so bad ass...man, BMW is the ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE...

I think my next sports car will be a BMW..if I can afford it.
And to think that the 328/330ci may receive a downgraded version of this SMG2 transmission, that would totally kick ass.

I WANT ONE!!!

Any word on when the SMGII, or downgraded version, will be available on 330s? I may be able to afford one of those, but not an M3 right now.

Acura really needs a tranny like this for its Type S line. That would be awesome. Imagine our CLs with a 6 speed sequential. What an improvement that would be over the current setup that can't even handle 260 HP.

There is SMG for 325/330

Hello Guys,

The SMG is an option for BMW 325/ 330 in Europe but not in US, yet!! I was actually thinking about a 325 coupe with SMG (called SSG in the US) Euro delivery before I got my CL-S. That would have been nice but I cannot wait for BMW to bring that option to US!!
BMWNA sucks anyway.. They are the last to get new tech from BMW..

Man, that thing is soooo hot. I wonder what it will run.... I'm assuming around $60k-$70k. Either way... it's pretty sweet.

I was looking at the new NSX in the showroom
last week for $88,000 (only looking). Why can't they trickle down a little more of the NSX technology to us like Mercedes does. The entry level C240 MB has the same TeleAid telecommunications service (which can also track a stolen car) and other high tech features that the top-of-the-line models do.

Actually North America gets the shaft on a lot of things like this. Volkswagen of America chooses "popular" packages/colors for this market but in Germany/Europe you can choose any color with any interior and any options, from what I've read.

Pretty sad ...
