The new GTO(and a side story)

These cars are sooooo bad!!! I have seen 2 since they've come out a red and a black. Well i was at the UT football game yesterday tailgating at about 4 and i hear this awesome car and i look over and it's a new GTO my jaw about hit the floor. Dude was showing off alot in it but hey i probably would too. Also a brand new 03' CL-P came by to the guys that were next to us tailgating. They parked and left as soon as they leave this van comes up to park on the hill in front of it. I guess the moron didnt put it in park but the van rolled forward and HIT THE CL! Well they guy sat in the van for like 2 mins. finally backin up. But i never saw the owner of the CL it was hilirious cause everyone was like its ok and i looked at it and it didnt look too good.

GTO is being sold at a dealer near my house and the lot is full of em... i mean there are so many that they are even being sold as used now...

i do agree... it looks like a 2door grand am

I loved driving it. Power and handling was pretty damn solid. Only thing I didnt like was the interior. That small block V8 of chevys has the sweetest sound in the world.

After trying one, I can say that the GTO is the best car to EVER wear a Pontiac badge. Decent ergonomics and a nice Blaupunkt system are nice compliments to the AWESOME LS1 powertrain. It feels like a VQ35DE powertrain taken to the next level exponentially. The power is EVERYWHERE on the power band. The styling is a little "understated" though.

Aside from the CTS 3.6L/V and C5/6, it's definitely on my short list of GM cars that I'd consider getting.
