New CL500
I did a brief search to see if there was another thread on this, but didn't. If there is one, feel free to 'er up.
OTOH, has anyone seen the new CL500??
I saw a black one on the road coming home today at it looked .
Mercedes screwed up on the new SL IMO, but the new CL is awesome.

These have been out for over a year now.
It is by far the SEXIEST mercedes I've seen in years.

The old CLK and SL were great looking cars, the new CLK and SL not so much. Conversely the old CL was a dog, it looked like a bloated CLK and just never did it for me, last summer a new CL550 was riding along side of me for about half an hour, I couldn't get over how good that car looked.

I leased one to a big customer of mine, it was a 2009 CL550 Black/Black with Premium 2 and AMG Sport package among a few other small options, the MSRP was $117k'ish, the lease worked out to $2,369 per month for 36 mos/12k miles per year NYC tax included, no cap cost reduction, only paying the 1st month, bank fee and plates upfront...Chump change I say!

The CL500 is very very nice, but it doesn't hold a candle to the CL63 Black Series. I've still only seen one on the road and I was in amazement at how incredible it looks in person. 60'ish gray hair guy driving it. The exhaust rumble as he accelerated was pure heaven.

Which country club do you work at Chris? Is it the one on Rockville Pike across Best Buy? Was the CL63 black with MD cheasapeake bay plates?...If so I know him

for some strange reason I don't like the new CL at all. I do like the b-pillarless windows. but the rear does nothing for me, and the front is just okay. The SL actually looks better IMO.... no wait, make that every other MB in their line-up looks better, AMG or not.

New C class and CL class are the best lookin' mercs on the market right now. but the E class looks mighty nice too.
If I ever bought a merc, it'd be the C class just so I could get it in stick. I refuse to buy an automatic!
