New Car Pics
Just got back from gettin it tinted. There was a break in the clouds so I snapped a few pics!
So far, I am very happy with the car! This is the only small car I can comfortably fit in so that is saying a lot.

I still think the Mazda3 is the best looking sedan in its segment. Too bad there is no Mazdaspeed version of it. It could have been the poor man's 335i (of sorts).

Congrats on the new Mazda. It looks good. Like I told you on your Veracruz thread, my wife and I purchased a CX-9 in April, and we absolutely love the Vehicle. Mazda's have really come along way in the last few years, and most people are suprised when they visit a Mazda dealership. ZOOM-ZOOM

Congrats, very nice car really.I'm wondering what your payments on the wagon would have been since I find them a little more attractive than the sedan.I read that handling and MT are crazy in that car! Happy ownership

Did you trade in the maxima?

We got a great deal. Lori owed 19.5 on the Maxima. Mazda offered her 15.5 on the trade. We took it to Carmax (North Houston) and they gave her 18.5. I got a cashiers check to cover the difference.
We got the Mazda for well below invoice since it was a left over 2007. No biggie because there are no changes to 08 for the 3s Touring model we got. Originally, I was going to get a base Mazda3i 5MT but it was an 08 and I ended up getting the Mazda 3s model for about the same price of 16K (includes destination)
I put down $1,500 and got a 24 month lease for $215 mo. with 15K mi.

Holy crap thats a good deal!!
We got her a 00 VW Cabrio at Demondtrond in Jan, had problems with it immediatly. Tried to trade it in June at Munday Mazda, they wanted to give us 4k. The car was wrecked and did not disclose the info.

Otherwise you'd be paying over $77k (incl down pmt) for it instead of around $45k. Either way, $909 for a Mazda's ridiculous. Glad you got a great deal on the though.

Of course, this was also trading in the Maxima and in that case, the base Mazda3 payment was $396 for 72 months with no money down.
They said they were saving us money because the combined payment were less a month than we are paying now

You could almost get a 60 month lease on a Porsche for that kind of money (sorry, couldn't help myself)

Nice purchase, I like those way more than the Corolla/Civic sedan/Sentra. They seem pretty capable.... I rode along in a 3s for a couple hot laps at Laguna Seca.
