If hes looking for the vert, then i dont think he really cares for performance too much. So i dont think the competition package is worth it.

Has anyone driven it, how is it compared to a stock m3?

Can you elaborate on that a bit?
Just wondering why you speak down on a car that most men would trade their left nut for.

Well, I had a 95 M3, a 00 Mcoupe, and currently an 04 M3.

My oldman had a 94 540i and a 97 740i, used to drive them all the time.

So, I'm just burnt out on BMWs for the moment.

If anyone is going to trade their left nut for a car......my advice is to at least make it a really good one.

Maybe something like this?.....

2005 S2000
$32,950.00

Destination & Handling:
$515.00

Prices shown are Honda-suggested retail prices only, and do not include taxes or license.

In other words... I would want to spend 20-25K on a used S2000 and throw 5-7K under the hood... I can not see spending 33K+ for a new S2000.

Like I said, the price is reasonable.....you can get about $2k off MSRP (give or take) on a new 05.

Just confused, because you said "either a used S2k, a new M3 or a new Vette."

And if you get rid of your M3 soon, my dad may be interested if the colors and options are right.

wow, atleast enoy the intercooler for a while

but on you have 3 great cars your deciding on:

s2k: fun car to drive, would be sweet w/ some boost, revs to 9k, not so much a daily sriver

m3: another fun car(only one w/ a back seat), best daily driver, best interior of the three, look sick with the oem 19's

c6: most power, can be made into a 11 sec car very easy, newest of the three, but do u want a american car??

if i was you i would go with the m3, cause the only vette that i'd want has a ls7 under the hood

don't get me wrong... i absolutely LOVE the M3 series of cars, including the hard top. but again, i want something with a more of a bling aspect to it, so the cabrio would be perfect.

the s4 sedan is an awesome performing car, but it lacks the interior and exterior details i'm looking for. i wont be modding the m3 when i get it, its good enough stock for me, the most i'd mod is wheels and sound.

i'm relocating back to Jersey before the summer, so after i buy furniture and stuff for my new place, i'll be taking a trip to the dealer to give a deposit.

Belt... can you give me the details of your m3? i just want to play with an idea in my head....

From what I remember, his M3 is leased.
So unless he buys it and then sells to you there is no “deal” to be made on that particular car.

I’m guessing he gets some kind of business tax breaks because I remember he leased the Viper too.
I often wonder what it takes to make a lease of a high dollar car like that worthwhile.
Maybe he would care to educate us a bit…wink…wink…

I actually don't get tax breaks anymore, but leased the Viper because it actually leased out well. Just didn't pay to buy it, glad I didn't as it suffered $16k in damage after being hit (for those that remember).

The M3 I leased as well, should have bought it though.....regret that move.

I did buy the STi.
