Don't worry, you're going to chip it anyways and get 215 hp.

What up with your springs?

0-60 in 8.2 seconds is pretty sad.

very very true....the only way to get that car quick is to chip the hell out of it....and that is an INSTANT warranty killer....Audi is VERY against chipping their turbo cars...

the current audi a4 does 0-60 in 7.9 seconds...

chip itself is estimated to shave off a second, and add about 100 foot lbs of torque.

That chip is going to make a big difference, but you will still be lacking high end torque. My advice is not to race anybody at the highway speeds and especialy if you got a couple of passangers... The 4cyl and a tiny K3 turbo cannot handle the power. It will be quick of line though, you will definetly get the sit of the pants effect.
If you want to get the real power out of that car get a turbo kit with a ball bearing turbo or at least a K04.

I used to own a 2000 1.8TQM with a APR chip, brullen catback,
and a Rieger/zender bodykit....Unfortunetly I totaled it , after 6 months of ownership, to bad b/c I had big plans for that car...

Why would you NOT want the Audi. It handles more ffecient, has more MOD-potential than our Cls. Please keep the Audi.. it is the better ride

I dont think 6 gears really matter. Most people i know who have 6 gears never really use the 6th unless they are trying to save on gas....

I say keep your order. Cars will always change, in 6 months when that comes out im sure somthing even more powerful will come out, then you will have to wait another 6 months... ya kno. Its always on going with cars...

The only person with NO future is the person who can't read....a mistake hidden. (a mistake hidden?)

Did u not read that Amir DOESN'T have an Audi??? He currently has an ACURA CL-S. He is ORDERING an Audi A4 1.8T....the point of this thread is that Audi will soon release an "update" to the 1.8T AFTER he gets the Audi. He wants to know if he should cancel and order the newer one. Get it?

I am just messin w/ ya! :P

I agree with Crazy, keep your order. Something better will always be right around the corner. Also you'll get 6 months or so of enjoyment out of your A4 that you would otherwise just spend waiting.
